What is Salt Therapy?
Our Salt-IR booth can accommodate up to 2 people. Children under 16 using this service are required to be accompanied by an adult. Simple to use, you can remain fully clothed for your session, and it only takes a few minutes out of your day.
Our Salt sauna offers a unique experience to receive a halotherapy session while also enjoying the benefits of an infrared sauna. A halo generator crushes pure 100% pharmaceutical grade salt into micronized particles dispersing it through the air into the sauna. The client(s) then inhale this salty air and enjoy the countless benefits. Halotherapy delivered in a small space like a sauna cabin provides higher concentrations that cannot be achieved in larger “salt caves/salt rooms.” Our Halo-IR booth allow a shorter session time to achieve the same or better outcomes.
Infrared sauna adds the following benefits to the already naturally potent anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties of pure pharmaceutical grade salt. Some of these benefits, such as boosting your immune system, reducing stress and fatigue, and improving skin, were already benefits of dry salt therapy.

Yes, children can come enjoy the salt booth. The treatment is suitable for children of any age (as young as 6 months old). Children, in fact, respond to the therapy even more quickly than adults. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Salt only sessions are for any age.
What is Halotherapy?
HALO = SALT. Salt Therapy evolved from Speleotherapy, which is prolonged exposure to underground salt caves and mines. Many countries, in Europe have been using Speleotherapy clinics for over 100 years. It involves spending 2-3 hours underground in a salt cave daily for 2-3 weeks. Halotherapy replicates the salt cave environment but requires far less time to achieve therapeutic results.
What conditions are improved by halotherapy?
Inhaling particles of salt can help reduce inflammation and mucus in the lungs, improving respiratory conditions such as asthma, allergies, bronchitis, sinus congestion and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). The calming and detoxifying effects of halotherapy can support the immune, nervous and lymphatic systems. Additional benefits some people have are reduced stress and headaches, increased energy, and better sleep patterns. Salt ions purify the air and may increase lung capacity and reduce physical ailments for adults, children and athletes. Treatments are recommended to help keep the body healthy during flu or allergy seasons.
How safe is Halotherapy?
Halotherapy is 100% natural, safe, and drug-free, providing effective long-term relief. It can be used as a complementary treatment to prescribed medications or as a sole treatment. When Halotherapy is used as a complementary treatment, it can increase the effectiveness and decrease the amount of prescribed medications.
How long is a session?
All sessions are 45 minutes. You will relax in our Halo-IR booth, listening to soothing sounds of music and breathing the saturated salt air.
How many sessions/times a week is necessary?
Halotherapy offers the best results when practiced regularly. The benefits are accumulative where consistency and frequency is the key. People with chronic issues will benefit greatly if visiting salt rooms at least 3-4 times a week. Those who are looking to incorporate Salt Therapy into their regular wellness routine would benefit from a weekly session. Halotherapy is safe to use on a daily basis if desired.
What are the side effects?
You may experience a dry throat and increased coughing after your first session. This is a natural part of the clearing process of the respiratory system. The pollution which has accumulated over time is being released by the salt and is then expelled from within the deepest regions of the lungs. You may also notice slight skin irritation, throat tickle (gargling with water resolves this) and minor eye irritation (use eye drops.) Halo-IR therapy has a detoxifying effect so people taking certain medications might want to wait until they are done with the medication. Always check with your doctor before starting any Salt Therapy treatments if you are taking any medications for severe conditions.
