What is Revibe Therapy?
FLOAT DISTRICT is bringing new and unique sound and light therapies to the Omaha area. Members can take advantage of our free (for members) Pre-float session designed to enhance your float by moving you quickly into a theta wave state. REVIBE will be an experience, unlike anything you have done before.
This equipment package utilizes elements of vibro acoustics through a waterbed combined with the Braintap® headphone / light visor which incorporates binaural beats and healing sound waves in combination with guided meditation to rapidly move the user’s brain into a theta brainwave state.
We offer a vast library of sound, light and vibration selections for your experience. A small sampling of selections includes weight loss; stop smoking; improved self-esteem; health challenges and many more.

What is Guided meditation?
Float District plans to explore this area along with Binaural beats. Guided meditation is literally meditation with a guide. It involves relaxing in a zero-gravity lounge chair (fully clothed) with a weighted blanket over you and a guided meditation program playing through headphones you are wearing. Your guide will help you relax into a meditative state and then bring you out at the end of your session. These sessions are 30 minutes long and most people report feeling as if they just finished a good nap and are refreshed and ready to tackle the rest of their day. Many of the benefits of meditation include:
- Gaining a new perspective on stressful situations.
- Building skills to manage your stress.
- Increasing self-awareness.
- Focusing on the present.
- Reducing negative emotions.
- Increasing imagination and creativity.
- Increasing patience and tolerance.
How does the guided meditation work?
Simply put; guided meditation is a soft-spoken voice used in the Binaural Beats soundtrack to gently guide you through the sensory inputs of the Revibe chair into a brainwave pattern known as theta state. Theta brainwaves occur most often in sleep but are also dominant in deep meditation. Theta is our gateway to learning, memory, and intuition. In theta, our senses are withdrawn from the external world and focused on signals originating from within.
